My Tried-and-True Thrifting Uniform
Written By Jennifer Grant
My go-to outfit for a day of thrifting has shifted over the years. I used to wear jeans and layers. Now I reach for easy & breezy.
I realized over the years that comfort is key so you can search high and dip down low to look for deals and steals. I pull for this “uniform” when I’m heading out for a Saturday morning of yard sales or a day of thrift store shopping.
Cotton Dresses
Pull On Pants & T-Shirt
Shoes
Anything that I can slip in and out of easily because nobody has time to tie and untie shoes.
Fanny pack or cross body purse
Hands should be free and shoulders should not be crunched with a heavy purse!
Cash
Not exactly part of the uniform but I do recommend always bringing cash as some thrift stores don’t accept credit/debit cards.
