An Apartment Dining Room Makeover
You will not want to miss this.
Many, many (many) years ago I moved in with Raymond and we decided to move into his apartment as it was bigger and a little nicer than my tiny 1-bedroom. One tiny little problem was that he had been living there for awhile and had decorated it.
The end.
That is, the end of that decorating story. Some of what he did I didnβt mind. MOST of what he did I loathed. One being the red paint that was splattered along some walls but not others.
He also had decided he had no need for dining room and proceeded to turn that space into a βloungeβ. This was full bartender days for him so I understand the logic.
However, it had to go.
And away it went on a weekend that he was conveniently out of town. Did I forget to mention that we did not see eye-to-eye on decor style? :P
I worked haaaaard that weekend while he was away making sure it was all clean, crisp, and put back together for his arrival. I think he was surprised and possibly a little mad.
You tell me - which one looked better?
