Thrift w/me: Part 7

After working our Gastonia Early Access event, I felt the pull to stop by Goodwill. What’s a better way to end the day than inside a thrift store?

I went to the Goodwill located on Hudson Boulevard in Gastonia. Later in the evening is an awesome time to go thrifting! I find lower crowds around this time of day.

I started by checking out the clothing. The racks were full and ready to be shopped. My favorite find that stood out to me was a Lilly Pulitzer dress. Vintage Lilly is something I always buy as long as the condition is good. If you’ve never tried just strolling down a thrift store aisle and shopped by seeing what pops out to your eye, I encourage you to try this method! You may be surprised what you spot this way!

Riding boots are forecasted to be trending in 2025. These Ralph Lauren ones caught my eye. There are so many ways you could style them! Wouldn’t they be darling paired with a white skirt?

I’ve wanted a barrel iron for so long, and after trying one from Amazon, I thought they just weren’t for me. When I saw this one with smaller barrels I was so excited to give it another try! Should we bring heat curlers back? For $3.00 I think we should give it a try!

The houseware section had some of the usual findings, along with a true January thrift find - A CHRISTMAS TREE! I thought this cabinet would be a good project piece for only $39.99. What color do you envision it transformed into?

Spring fever is hitting me hard during the bitter January cold, and hosting a tea party is at the top of my list to do this Spring! Goodwill’s china options are typically super affordable. I adore these plates and cups for high tea. Come on, BUTTERFLIES FOR SPIRNG?!?! GROUNDBREAKING!!!!

If you’re in the area, check out Goodwill Industries SP on Hudson Boulevard sometime! Even if its just a quick lunch break pop in, their inventory is constantly rotating with finds to be found!!!
